THE LANE LIBRARIES COMMUNITY TECHNOLOGY CENTER
About: The Lane Libraries Community Technology Center is located in the historic Robinson Schwenn Building at 10 Journal Square. This welcoming and high-tech environment includes wi-fi access, various electronic devices for use in the center, a computer lab and a high-end production lab boasting design software, 3-D printer and more. A meeting room is available for use by various community groups. Computer classes and special events are also held in this unique facility right in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Transforming a dark, windowless space through the use of innovative lighting, exposed ceilings and suspended panels, colors and finishes, flexible furniture and vibrant artwork from local artists Stephen Smith and Evan Hildebrandt as well as local gallery Art Off Symmes, CDA created a space that is both high tech and appealing. Linked to neighbor True West Coffee, this is fast becoming a hub of the downtown area.
