BLOOM CARROLL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Working with OFCC, the Bloom-Carroll School District developed a masterplan and passed a bond issue in May of 2018 for the construction of a new 1,000 student K-5 elementary school. Working in partnership with Schorr Architects, Mike lead the process with Programming, Design Team meetings, as well as, Exterior and Interior Schematic Design to turn the goals of the district for their new school into reality while working with OFCC Design Manual guidelines. The continuing design process involves CDA as the design lead handling color and finish selections, interior detailing, casework details, signage, furniture layouts and specifications and shared overall project management. The new building includes classrooms, a two-story media center, cafeteria, offices, art and music classrooms and will feature school colors of gray and yellow on a clean background of shades of white and gray.
