The Hamilton CORE Fund Building

What We Did

InsideOut Studios provides a supportive studio environment for artists with developmental disabilities to produce, market, and receive an income from their art.

InsideOut Studios is a unique retail shop and studio workspace located in the former Elder Beerman building (owned by the Hamilton CORE Fund) in downtown Hamilton. Inspiration Studios and their InsideOut Studio workshop fosters the artistry and creativity of individuals with development disabilities, while helping them to also gain confidence in their abilities. The inviting retail shop opens into a workshop which frequently welcomes visitors to collaborate with the artists to create unique art. While CDA was designing their office space, the Kirsch Group staff worked side by side with InsideOut artists to create a pottery art installation for the 2-story Kirsch lobby space.

In 2021, CDA created a 1,700 SF expansion into an unoccupied, unfinished space adjacent to the existing storefront to incorporate three new offices, a sensory room, restroom, and storage space.
