Candy Land is real and it’s in downtown Hamilton!
Henry’s Candy is an old school candy store offering nostalgic and whimsical treats by the pound. The space has had many former tenants, including a jewelry store, and the building owner required that most of the original casework and paneling remain “as is”. A design scheme was developed that worked with these existing elements while bringing a fun and funky aesthetic to the space. The custom full length candy counter entices customers to browse and holds a wide variety of chocolates, gummies and wrapped candies in plexiglass bins with lids. Guests are individually served from behind the counter and can order candy in any quantity. Retro “sputnik” chandeliers were sourced and now feature candy-colored bulbs, while gummy bear art adds a colorful touch.
