RIVERSEDGE AMPHITHEATER AND MARCUM PARK

About: RiversEdge connects residents to the Great Miami River. Built on a brownfield site of the former Mercy Hospital, RiversEdge hosts a summer concert series and other community events. In February of 2015, Joe and Sarah Marcum committed to funding an expansion of the park, which adds an assortment of amenities for the community to enjoy. Mike has been an integral part of this process starting with the design of the amphitheater and the Restroom and Storage support building which functions as a backdrop to the stage (SHP), as well as an addition to that structure in 2016 (Community Design Alliance). The design of the amphitheater and parks has been led by MKSK Studios, an award winning landscape architecture firm. Most recently, Mike has worked as an Owner Rep for the Parks Conservancy on the Marcum Park expansion (CDA), which opened in Spring 2017. CDA also continues to provide ongoing design and project management services to the Parks Conservancy on a variety of projects.
